The 2017 Fletcher-Morrow Shield Match was held between the Geelong and Ballarat Chess Clubs at the Geelong Chess Club Rooms, 33 Myers Street, Geelong with clocks starting at 1pm on Sunday, 13th August, 2017.
The Home Team (Geelong) played White on the odd numbered boards, and came away with the honors, winning 6.5 to 3.5 on the top ten boards.
